ALBINA (LE) PASTULA (URBANSKI) Aged 87 years, passed away April 22, 2000, after living a proud Christian life. Mom passed away peacefully at Seven Oaks Hospital after a very brief illness. Her soul was taken to her eternal home for a well earned rest. Our mother will be missed by her son Art (Betty), grandson Jeff (Doreen), great-grandchildren, Nathan and Christopher, granddaughter Colleen Budgell (friend Curtis) and great-grandson Curtis; daughter Rose Franklin of Libau, Man., grandchildren, Bill of Vancouver, Kathleen (Ed), great-grandson David of Victoria, B.C., Les (Dale), great-grandson Jeremy of Winnipeg, Don (Denise) of Wallaceberg, Ont. Mom is survived by two sisters, Helen Luska of Winnipeg, Bea Wilson of Waterloo, Ont., and her aunt Marie Bossuyt of Oak Bluff. She was predeceased by her parents, Jacob and Theresa Urbanski, an infant sister, one brother Willie, a sister Jessie Chapel and son-in-law John Franklin and numerous nieces and nephews. Mom was born on December 15, 1912, raised in Arnes, Man. The family moved to Winnipeg Beach in 1921 for their education. Mom completed nine grades of school in four years. Mom worked as a domestic for a few years in Winnipeg and later married Joe in 1930. Mom and Dad successfully owned and operated Space Heating and Appliance Service for over 40 years. Joe passed away November 13, 1983. In 1995 Mom broke her hip while suffering through the onset of Alzheimers which affected her quality of life for the past eight years. The Honorary Pallbearers will be her grandchildren, Jeff Pastula, Colleen Budgell, Bill, Kathy, Leslie and Don Franklin. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, April 26 at 2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. at Luxton Avenue. Viewing will be at 1:00 p.m. Cremation will take place with placement of Mom and Dads ashes at a later date. Flowers gratefully declined. If friends so wish, donations may be made to the Alzheimers Society of Manitoba, Unit 10-120 Donald Street, Winnipeg, Man., R3C 4G2. The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the staff at Deer Lodge Hospital and River East Nursing Home for their exceptional care they gave Mom for the past four and one half years. Dear Mom: The special days will not return When we were all together. But with the love thats in our hearts You walk with us forever.
