Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEDWARD P. (TED) RING On Sunday, April 23, 2000 at the Fort Garry Care Centre, Edward P. (Ted) Ring, aged 86 years. Ted was born and raised in Brandon and entered the plumbing and heating trade with Yates and Neal. After moving to Winnipeg in 1942, he was with Fairbanks Morse, then became a gas and electrical inspector with the Manitoba Department of Labour, Mechanical and Engineering, and also served in this capacity with the City of Winnipeg Fire Commissioners Office. Ted retired in 1979 and very much enjoyed his many years with family and friends at the summer home at Gull Lake, MB. Ted is survived by his wife of 56 years, Elizabeth (Lil) daughters, Lynda Dunbar (Dan) of Winnipeg, Pat Schroeder (Allan) of Calgary, AB; granddaughters, Tracy Dunn (Mike) of Kamloops, BC, and Stephanie Schroeder of Calgary; brother Kelly of Winnipeg; two brothers and a sister in British Columbia. Ted was predeceased by a son in infancy, his brother Lorne, and granddaughter Jennifer Schroeder. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at the Fort Garry Care Centre for Teds excellent care. At Teds request, no services are planned and cremation has taken place. Flowers gratefully declined; if friends so desire, contributions may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 102 - 31 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB R3C 0S6; or the Salvation Army, 400 - 500 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3C 3X1.
