EDWARD LEE SIMPSON It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Lee Simpson at the age of 72 years, on April 23, 2000. With his loving wife at his side, Lee ended his long struggle with a debilitating disease. Lee will be forever loved, missed and remembered by his beloved wife Sidney; his daughters, Kelly (Doug) King and granddaughter Kaylee of Hamilton, Ontario, Pam (Andrew) and granddaughter Kelsey of Port Moody, B.C.; by his step-sons, Morgan (Norine), grandsons Forrest and Durell of Hudsons Hope, B.C., and Fraser (Amy) McLennan, grandchildren, Nicole and Malcolm of Winnipeg, Manitoba; his sister (Beryl) and Keith Kraul of Lucan, Ontario; brother Ken (Heather) of Ottawa, Ontario; his mother-in-law Ethel Kenny of Winnipeg; sisters-in-law, Joanne Kenny of Edmonton and Valerie Pearson of Winnipeg, and by many nieces, nephews and a community of dear friends. Lee was predeceased by his mother and father; his brother Jim and by Jims two daughters, Nancy and Tanya. Lee was a member of St. Davids United Church, Leduc, the Royal Canadian Legion, Leduc Branch 108, and was a former President of Unit 21, The Korea Veterans Association. A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 29, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Davids United Church, Leduc, 4614-48th Street, Leduc. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Palliative Care Unit of the St. Josephs Hospital. Special thanks to Dr. S.
