MARY FRANKS Peacefully on April 22, 2000 at the St. Boniface Hospital, Mary Franks, dearly beloved wife of Gordon Franks, passed away at age 83. Besides her husband Gordon, Mary leaves to mourn and cherish her memory her children, Bill Krisa of Edmonton, Lovey Solonyczny of Winnipeg; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her three brothers, Bill, Matt and Steve. The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to Dr. Daeninck, Pam Johnston and the staff on 3E Palliative Care St. Boniface Hospital, for their care and compassion. Viewing to take place Thursday evening April 27 between 7:00 and 8:00 p.m. at the Transcona Funeral Chapel, 1800 Day St. Funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, April 28 also at the chapel with Rev. Jeff Cook officiating. Service to terminate at the chapel. In lieu of flowers, if friends so wish, memorial donations may be made to Cancer Care Manitoba Foundation, 100 Olivia St., Winnipeg, R3E 9Z9. Transcona Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements.
