Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALBERT BRUNEAU The family of Albert Bruneau announce his quiet passing into the arms of our Saviour during the Easter Season, April 25 2000. Albert Bruneau was born on March 25 1925, the sixth child born to Fernand Bruneau and Louise LeDevehat. Papa attended Ecole Parthenay until Grade 7, he then went on to pursue his greatest love, farming on the original Bruneau homestead. Papa married Marie-Louise LeHeiget July 15, 1953. Together, they raised seven children. Papa leaves to mourn his passing, his loving wife of 47 years, Marie-Louise; his children, Claude and Lenore Bruneau of St-Claude, Eveline and Gerry Gaudreau of St-Vital, Odette and Raymond Rivard of St-Francois Xavier, Yvon and Sharon Bruneau of Holland, Marc and Lynn Bruneau of St-Claude, Pierre Bruneau of St-Claude and Solange and Robert Dequier of Stony Plain, Alta. His grandchildren, Derica and Devon Bruneau; Michael and Colin Gaudreau; Nadine, Katrine and Angeline Rivard; Stacey, Cody and Brady Bruneau; Dylan, Jenna and Dallas Bruneau; and Josee and Brenden Dequier. Papa also leaves two sisters, Helene Goulet and Irene Dacquay; one brother, Louis Bruneau; two sisters-in-law, Blanche and Rose Bruneau as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Papa rejoins many loved ones that he cherished: his mother and father, sister Blanche Chappellaz, brothers Raoul and Felix, brothers-in-law Leo Goulet, Leon Chappellaz, Yves Dacquay, Henri Bellec and Jean Leduc, sister-in-law Valentine Bruneau, nephews Henri Bruneau, Andre Bellec and Paul Leduc. Papa spent his entire life on the family farm. If there is one legacy that Papa will be remembered for is his strong work ethic. He instilled only one rule in his children and that was to work hard and do it right. Not having many pastimes, in his healthier times, he enjoyed hunting and having a good card game of 500. In his later years, Papas greatest joy was touring the countryside and watching his sons work his farm. Thank-you Papa for our last Easter together. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated in the St-Claude Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, April 29 at 2:00 p.m. with Father Rodrigue Bouchard officiating. Interment to follow in the Parish Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation, 301-352 Donald St., Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3B 2H8. Adams Funeral Home of Notre Dame de Lourdes, Manitoba in care of arrangements. Phone 248-2201 or 1-888-400-2326.
