JOSEPH BRIAN (JOEY) HUBLEY Joseph Brian "Joey" Hubley, age 29 years, of Winnipeg, formerly of The Lodge, Lunenburg County, died April 21, 2000, in Pass Lake, Ont. Born in Halifax, he was a son of Brian Hubley, The Lodge and Patricia Collicutt, Chester. Joey was a loving father, husband and son and will be sadly missed by his family and friends in Nova Scotia and Manitoba. Joey graduated from Chester Municipal High in 1988 and the Commercial Safety College in Truro in 1993, receiving top honours and his Class 1 License shortly there after. Joey and Darlene moved to Winnipeg in 1993 and began working with Gershman Transport before starting with Bison Transport 1994 and for the last year he owned and operated his own Semi. Surviving are his wife, Darlene (Hanrahan), Winnipeg; son, Parker Lewis, at home; paternal grandmother, Rose Hubley; maternal grandmother, Beulah Harnish, The Lodge. He was predeceased by his brother, Keith James. Cremation has taken place. Funeral 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 28 in St. Lukes Anglican Church, Hubbards, Rev. Mark Pretty officiating. Burial in St. James Anglican Church Cemetery, Fox Point. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in trust to Joeys sons trust fund.
