MONICA JOVITA BARRETT-HAMILTON Recently moved from Winnipeg to Midland to reside closer to her family. Monica died suddenly on Tuesday, April 28, 2000 at the age of 89 years. Monica is remembered by her sons, Richard and John; her daughters-in-law, Bonnie and Judylynn; her grandchildren, Monica, Jack, Brendan and Amy, and her great-granddaughter Ashley. Monica survived her husband Gerald C. Barrett-Hamilton who died in Winnipeg in 1992. She dedicated her life to her family interests and to her husbands challenging career in real estate and enjoyed the benefits of a loving and lasting 56 years of marriage. Funeral services were held at the Penetanguishene Funeral Home at 155 Main St. in Penetanguishene, ON L9M 1L7 on April 22. The family suggests that memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
