ALICE PAQUETTE (Nee Frechette) Peacefully, on April 27, 2000, Alice Paquette, nee Frechette, aged 80, passed away at the St. Boniface Hospital. Alice, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, was predeceased by brothers (Lucien and Edouard) and sisters (Yvonne and Melina) who died before reaching adulthood. She was also predeceased by her mother Alphonsine in 1962, her father Joseph in 1969, her sister Anna in 1975, her brothers Lionel in 1987, Georges in 1994, Eugene in 1998 and Ernest in 1998, her husband Wilfrid in 1979, her daughter Lucille in 1990 and her grandson Gerard in 1981. She is survived by her brother Lucien and many sisters-in-law and brother-in-law Albert Paquette. She will be greatly missed by her son Georges, her daughter Evelyn (Denis) Mathieu, her daughter Suzanne Tougas as well as her grandchildren Richard Mathieu, Sherry Tougas, Daniel Tougas and Yvette Mathieu. Prayers will be held on Sunday, April 30 at 4:00 p.m. from the chapel of Desjardins Funeral Home, 357 DesMeurons St. with Msgr. Albert Frechette presiding. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, May 1 at 10:30 a.m. at Precieux-Sang R.C. Church, 200 Kenny St. with Fr. Marcel Chaput and Msgr. Albert Frechette con-celebrating. Interment will follow in Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. Many thanks are sent to Dr. Lotocki and the Oncology Department of St. Boniface Hospital for the loving care they showed our mother as well as to the doctors, nurses and staff of 3B and 4E.
