ANTONIETTA TERESA TORREGROSSA (nee NACCARATO) August 31, 1926 - April 27, 2000 Peacefully on April 27, 2000 at Victoria General Hospital with her family by her side, the Lord took Antonietta at the age of 73. Mama will be sadly missed by her beloved husband of 46 years, Giovanni; daughters, Giovanna (Joe), Rosa (Walter) and her grandchildren, Rosa, Giovanni, Amanda, Adriana and Alia. She is also survived by her loving brother Franco Naccarato (Teresina) of B.C.; many nieces and nephews throughout Canada, the United States and Italy. She was predeceased by her father Pasquale in 1962, mother Rosaria in 1963, and her sister Maria in 1995. Antonietta was born on August 31, 1926 in Grimaldi, Cosenza, Italia. She immigrated to Canada in 1952 where she lived a life of contentment with her husband, children, grandchildren, (special people in her heart, Breena Kesanko and future grandson Garrett Graveline), and many, many loving friends. The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the nurses and doctors of the I.C.U. ward and 5th floor staff of Victoria General Hospital for all their care and support given. We also would like to express our thanks to all friends and family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice. Viewing will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 2 at Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church. Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 2, also at Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, 510 River Ave. Interment will follow in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
