J.A. BOSWELL (BOSIE) MITCHELL On April 23, 2000 at the Selkirk & District General Hospital Bosie Mitchell, aged 79 years, of Selkirk, MB, beloved husband of Sigga Mitchell, passed peacefully away. Bosie will be lovingly remembered by wife, Sigga, stepdaughter Wilma (Barry) Linklater, three grandchildren; Scott, Craig and Dana (Don) Bertsch; three great-grandchildren Dakota, Dantan and Darby, and cousins Bob and Ed Andrews and families and Marguerite Buchanan and family. Bosie had served with the Canadian Armed Forces during the Second World War and had been a life member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 42 and of the Army, Navy and Air Force #151, Selkirk. He was also a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church. He had been employed for many years with Manitoba Hydro prior to retirement. A private graveside service will be held on Friday, May 5 at 2:00 p.m. at the Selkirk Lutheran Cemetery with Pastor Stan Richards. Members of the Royal Canadian Legion will also hold graveside rites.
