Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMATTHEW DONALD CLINCKE On Friday, April 28, 2000, Matthew passed away peacefully with his wife at his side at The Victoria General Hospital at the age of 41 years. Matthew leaves to mourn his passing his beloved wife Catherine; his parents, Lucian and Alison; his brother Mark; his sister-in-law Kathy; his niece Karen and nephew Steven. Matthew was born in Winnipeg, July 14, 1958 and spent his life there. He was a man who thoroughly enjoyed life and never wasted a minute of it. He had many interests including playing hockey, playing the guitar. Snowmobiling with his brother and friends was a major interest as a young man. He raced in stock car races, later on building and racing a mini-sprint car. He was building an elaborate model railway setup in his basement. At one time he belonged to a remote control boat club for which he built and operated a model submarine. Model airplanes were also an interest. In the past few years he owned and operated a 28 cabin cruiser and had many hours of pleasure running it on the Red River with Catherine and his friends. Matthew had many friends and will be sadly missed by all who knew him. At Matts request cremation has taken place. Funeral Mass will be said on Monday, May 1 at 11:00 a.m. in the St. Vital Catholic Church, 1629 Pembina Highway with Rev. Dr. Patrick Morand presiding. Interment will be private and take place at a later date. Flowers gratefully declined.
