Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHARRIET EILEEN MAY CARROLL On May 1, 2000, our sister Harriet Eileen May passed away after a lengthy illness. Harriet was born August 1, 1918 in Semans, Sask. to Frederick and Cora Carroll. The family moved to Winnipeg shortly thereafter. Harriet worked in the Treasury Department of the Federal Government for many years. She was a former member of the St. Vital Curling Club and the Wildewood Club and was very active in and enjoyed curling and golf. Harriet will be lovingly remembered and missed by her family, sisters, Joyce (with whom she lived), Jean Johnson, Inez (Robert) Langtry, Ruth (Donald) Fennell, all of Winnipeg; brothers, Robert (Betty) in Ottawa, Gerald (Patricia) and sister-in-law Margaret of Winnipeg. Harriet was predeceased by her mother, father, brother George; sister Marjorie and brother-in-law Arthur Johnson. She will also be remembered and missed by her many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank the staff of the Riverview Health Centre for their wonderful care in making Harriets last days as comfortable as possible. Cremation has taken place and there will be a funeral service at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 6 in Thomson Funeral Chapels, 669 Broadway with the Rev. K. R. Binding officiating. Flowers are gratefully declined, however, donations may be made to the Riverview Health Centre, the Misericordia Health Centre, the Victoria General Hospital or to a charity of choice.
