ISIDRO P. LEDESMA On April 28, 2000 the late Isidro P. Ledesma passed away into the hands of our Lord and Saviour. Tatay Idrong was born on March 5, 1927 at Rosario, Cavite, Philippines where he spent his younger years. He moved with his family to Winnipeg, Canada on July 23, 1984. Predeceased by his father, Mateo, his mother, Dionisia and by his siblings, namely Rosenda, Rosendo, Ading, Roman, Elias and Mary. Tatay Idrong is survived by his loving wife, Apolonia and children Fel (Mario Climaco), Esmie (Beth), Nenita (Jun Hugo), Violy (Bert Cuevas), Bhoyet (Linda), Nancy (Boy Mariano), Zaldy (Josie), Norie (Mario Alverro), Lisa and Maricris. He also left behind his sister, Meding and his grandchildren, Marifel (Jessie Pamintuan), Allan (Leony), Rosemarie, Willie, Eric (Lisa), Edwin (Liezl), Elgin, Cherry May, Jeffrey, Brian, Janette, Erica, Aries, Alberto, Jr., Avery Camille, Joy-Ann, Jayzel, Johniel, Wharren, Karen, Kathleen, Lorraine, Allison, Angelo, Ainsley and Angelica. Special mention is made of his great-grandchildren, namely, Bailey, Serena, Felicity, Jessica, Kimberly, Tristan and special niece Marcela Buduhan. Not to be forgotten are his many nieces and nephews in the U.S., Canada and the Philippines. His passion for fishing, farming and woodworking filled his life with joy and satisfaction. He will be remembered as the best father any child could hope for, as the best husband a wife could pray for and as the best example of a human being anyone could aspire for. A Viewing/Lamay service will be held at Voyage Funeral Home on Thursday, May 4 and Friday May 5 between 6:00 p.m. and 12:00 midnight. Prayers will be said on Friday, May 5 at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, May 6 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patricks Roman Catholic Church, 168 Worth St. Father Marc Monforton, OMI, officiating.
