JAMES H. MAIN At North York General Hospital, Toronto, on Saturday, April 29, 2000, in his 90th year, after a lengthy illness. Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, he lived in Pointe Claire, Que. for three years, settled in the Toronto area in 1960, and spent the last two years in Glynnwood Retirement Home in Thornhill. He is survived by Dorothy, his beloved and loving wife for almost 63 years; their three sons, Donald, Douglas (Ann) and David; and grandchildren, James, Stephen, Robert, David and Heather. A memorial service will be held at THORNHILL UNITED CHURCH, 25 Elgin St., Thornhill L3T 1W5, on Thursday, May 4 at 2:00 p.m. followed by a reception at the church. If desired, donations in memory of Jimmie to Thornhill United Church Endowment Fund, North York General Hospital, 4001 Leslie St., Toronto M2K 1E1, or The Salvation Army, 1645 Warden Ave., Toronto M1R 5B3, would be appreciated.
