MICHAEL KOSCIELNIUK Peacefully, on April 23, 2000 at the Betel Home, Gimli, Michael Koscielniuk aged 89 years, beloved brother of Joe. Mike was predeceased by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Koscielniuk and brother Pete. Left to cherish Mikes memory is his brother Joe of Gimli, MB. A longtime resident of the Winnipeg Beach area, Mike spent many hours playing his violin at the dances at the legion hall in Winnipeg Beach. A very musical man, he in later years played the organ at the Betel Home. For many years, Mike, along with his brothers, farmed in the Foley area and in later years he worked at his handyman contracting business in Winnipeg Beach. Mike was an extremely hard worker, with a passion for shopping and gardening and a love for cats. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday (today) at 2:00 p.m. in the St. Peter and Paul Church, Winnipeg Beach with Deacon Peter Chorney officiating. Interment in the South Foley Cemetery. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
