MAURICE MEUNIER HELENE MEUNIER (nee MAGER) Born February 1, 1911, in Winnipeg, Maurice died peacefully Saturday, January 1, 2000. Born May 9, 1908, in St. Vital, Helene died peacefully Friday, April 7, 2000. They will be greatly missed by daughters, Lorraine Verdenik, Thunder Bay, Ont., Louise Early (Sam), Pt. Pleasant, West Va., Suzanne Guss, Surrey, B.C. and Gisele Cox (Don), Winnipeg, and sons, Charles Meunier (Bev) and Richard Meunier, Winnipeg, eleven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Helen is also survived by her brother Alphonse Mager of Norco, Ca. and two sisters, Eveline Sulavalla (Nick), Theresa Zahara of Chilliwack, B.C. Cremation has taken place. A Funeral Mass will be held on May 5, at 2:00 p.m. in the St. Alphonsus Church, 300 Donalda Ave., with Father Gregory Mulligan O.F.M. Cap., presiding. Interment at St. Vital Cemetery in a private family service. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Pleasant Bay group home c/o DASCH Inc., 3059 Portage Ave., 2nd floor Winnipeg, MB, R3K 0W4, would be greatly appreciated.
