VALERIE GAIL McKAY (nee PRINCE) White Thunderbird Woman After a lengthy illness, Valerie McKay age 35 years, passed away on Monday, May 1, 2000 at the St. Boniface Hospital. Valerie was born on August 5, 1964 in Pine Falls, MB, and grew up in the Scanterbury area, later moving to Winnipeg. She was predeceased by her parents, Albert, and Cecil Prince; brother Larry; sister Mariann, and grandmother Lena. Valerie is survived by her children, daughter Christy; sons, Denis Jr., Michael, Francois, and Jonathan; granddaughter Jennifer; one brother Morton (Cheryl) one sister Corrine; special friend Denis; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Viewing will be held on Thursday, May 4 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and Friday, May 5, 10 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Knysh Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main St. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 6 at 2:00 p.m. at the Brokenhead Community Hall.
