W. BOTHO GUENTHER May 29, 1929 - April 30, 2000 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the untimely passing of our husband, father, grandfather and friend, Botho. Botho was an adventurer, a dreamer, a comic, a voracious reader and an intellect. Above all else he was a man devoted to the care, nurturing and protection of his family. Remaining to forever cherish his memory are his wife Helga, of 44 years; daughters, Karen Guenther, Patricia Kilgallon (Bill), Janine Guenther (Darren Burns) and Gisela McTavish (Bill). The greatest treasures in his life over the past few years were his precious grandchildren, Aliya McTavish, Danny and Aaron Kilgallon who will miss their Opa. Bothos funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 4 at 10:30 a.m., in the Trinity Lutheran Church, Starbuck, MB, with Pastors Ron Vert and David Knudson officiating. Refreshments will follow the service and a private family interment will take place in the Starbuck Cemetery. Our family would like to express a sincere thanks to the Health Sciences Centre Emergency staff for their care and compassion. Flowers are gratefully declined. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made in Bothos memory to the Deer Lodge Centre Day Hospital, 2109 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3J 0L3 or to the Canadian Cancer Society (Manitoba Division), 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 2B7. "Goodnight sweet prince. May flights of angels sing you to your rest." Bothos family has entrusted his arrangements to the care of: WOJCIKS FUNERAL CHAPEL & CREMATORIUM 897 - 4665
