ANNIE "FERNE" SIDDON (nee LEE) February 26, 1902 - April 20, 2000 On April 20, 2000, Ferne passed away peacefully at Central Park Lodge, at the age of 98. She leaves to cherish her memory her children; Roy (Doris), Marg Auld (Will), Gwen Goodman, Shirley Wells (Bud), Lorne (Mona) 15 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, one great great-grandchild; brother Melville Lee; sister-in-law Lorna Lee, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was born in Treherne, Man. in 1902. She lived in the Swan River Valley most of her life up until 1941 when they moved into Winnipeg. Mother remained alert at all times knowing exactly what she wanted. She always kept a great sense of humour even when she wasnt feeling well. She was always there for her family. We will always have happy memories of her great independence. We would like to thank Lions Manor, Sherbrook Street and Central Park Lodge, 70 Posiedon for the loving care she received at all times. Cremation has taken place. A private family interment will be held. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 6 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. with Reverend Russel Wardell officiating. A gathering of family and friends will follow in the Chapel Lawn Reception Centre. In lieu of flowers please donate to a charity of your choice.
