It broke our hearts to lose you But you did not go alone, For part of us went with you The day God called you home. Though your smile is gone forever, And your hand we cannot touch, We will never lose the memory Of one we loved so much. Thanks for the loving years you gave us, The happy times we shared, We all pray that when you left us, You knew how much we cared. Our family chain is broken And nothing seems the same, But as God calls us one by one, The chain will link again. We love you Florence, Mom, Grandma, Great-grandma and friend. You will remain in our cherished memories and our hearts. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 100 Olivia Street, Winnipeg, MB, R3E OV9.
