GORDON ALEXANDER WILSON Peacefully, with his family by his side, our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, Gordon Alexander Wilson of Peguis, Manitoba passed away after a courageous battle with a lengthy illness on Tuesday, May 2, 2000 at the age of 58 years at the Percy E. Moore Hospital. Gordon leaves to mourn his passing his loving and faithful wife Margaret; his children, Angie (Phil), Terry (Donna), Kyle, Cory and Amanda; his grandchildren, Zachary and Jessica; his brothers, Ben (Alice), Larry (Joyce) and Ralph (Sharon) his sisters, Doreen, Shirley (Ron), Thelma (Marshall), Myrna, Val (Cliff), Phyllis (Glen) and Cindy (Dennis) his sister-in-law Ada; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Gordon was predeceased by his father Gordon; his mother Nancy and by his brother Andrew. Next to his faith, Gordons family was the most important thing in his life. He cherished his wife and children, "Papas" proud face would light up at even the thought of his grandchildren and he spoke of them often. Gordon was well known by all, as a thoughtful and caring person, whose concern of others before himself lasted through his final days. We all loved him very much and will miss him dearly. The family wishes to thank the staff at the Percy E. Moore Hospital for their excellent care and support to Gordon and the family during this difficult time. To the Fisher Ambulance Service, the Peguis Chief and Council and to all the caring family and friends for their prayers, emotional support and generous contributions. Your kindness and consideration is greatly appreciated. A wake service will be held on Thursday, May 4 at 8:00 p.m. at the Peguis Apostolic Church. A wake service will be held on Friday, May 5 at 7:30 p.m. at the Peguis Community Hall. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 6 at 2:00 p.m. with a viewing beginning at 1:00 p.m. at the Peguis Community Hall, with Rev. Wesley Barrett and Rev. Barry Bear officiating.
