HELEN DYCK On Tuesday, May 2, 2000, Helen Dyck of Steinbach passed away at the Concordia Hospital in Winnipeg at the age of 87 years. She leaves to cherish her memory one sister Erna (Peter) Friesen of Winnipeg and their family, sister-in-law Betty Dyck of Steinbach and her family, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Johan and Amalie Dyck; brother Herman in 1999. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 9 at 10:30 a.m. at the Mennonite Brethren Church, 340 2nd St., Steinbach with Mr. Neil Rempel and Mr. John Arendt officiating. Interment will follow in the Steinbach Memorial Cemetery. Viewing will be held on Monday, May 8 between 7:00 and 8:00 p.m. at Woodhaven Manor, 177 Woodhaven Ave., Steinbach and at the church prior to the service. Donations in her memory may be made to the Mennonite Central Committee. Thank you to the doctors and nurses of the Bethesda Hospital in Steinbach and the Concordia Hospital in Winnipeg for the fine care given.
