ANGELINA WOLOSZYN (Anania) Peacefully surrounded by family and friends, Angelina Woloszyn passed away on Wednesday, May 3, 2000. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband Greg, daughters Kristen and Kerri, her parents Antonio and Lina Anania, brothers Joe (Carol), Gino (Sherry), sister Lori, mother-in-law Myrtle Woloszyn, brothers-in-law Jerry and Jordan, numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Born in Amato, Italy on February 23, 1948; she came to Canada at the age of five with her family. She graduated from the University of Manitoba, Faculty of Education and the School of Fine Arts in 1970. She began her teaching career at Eriksdale Collegiate, and went on to teach at Warren Collegiate, Silver Heights Collegiate, John Taylor Collegiate and Hedges Junior High. She also enjoyed being employed at Maples Nursery School. Angie was well respected by her colleagues and well liked by all her students. Angie was a devoted wife, mother, daughter and sister. Family and friends were most important to her. Her positive attitude and optimistic outlook carried the family through this difficult time. Of her many interests Angie especially enjoyed and loved gardening, photography and reading. Angies family would like to thank Dr. Lezack, Nadia, Janet, Donna, Debbie and other staff at the Seven Oaks Oncology Unit. They would also like to thank the doctors, nurses and aides at Riverview Health Centre. Funeral service will be held in the chapel of Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street, on Saturday, May 6, at 10:00 a.m. with viewing one half hour prior. Interment Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. A gathering of family and friends will follow in the Glen Eden Reception Centre. Pallbearers will be Joe Anania, Gino Anania, Jerry Woloszyn, Frank Anania, Ed Calnitsky, Myron Love and Paul Putnam. Donations in Angies memory may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 100 Olivia Street, Winnipeg, MB, R3E 9Z9, in lieu of flowers. Angie will be sadly missed but always remembered.
