EFFIE RUDACHEK Suddenly, on Wednesday, May 3, 2000, Effie Rudachek, age 88, passed away at the St. Boniface Hospital. Effie was predeceased by her husband of 44 years, William (Wasyl) Rudachek on December 9, 1983; brother John; sisters, Pauline, Bertha and Josie. She will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Roy (Patricia) and Bob (Kelly) grandchildren, Brenda, Randy (Tina), Donna and Clayton, Bobbie-Rose, Brenda and Nancy; great-grandchildren, Ryen and Riley, Pam and Lisa; sisters, Mary and Sophie, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Effie was born and raised in Greenoak, MB, moved to Winnipeg, where she met and married William in May 1939, raised their two sons and lived life to the fullest. The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to the staff on the fourth floor of Beacon Hill Lodge, who went to great lengths to make our mother comfortable in the last seven months. Prayers will be held on Sunday, May 7 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, May 8 at 10:00 a.m. also at the Chapel with Rev. Ihor Royik officiating. Interment will follow in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. Flowers gratefully declined, donations may be made in Effies memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 301-352 Donald Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3B 2H8.
