JANET "ISABEL" SHARP On Thursday, May 4, 2000 at the Lions Prairie Manor, Janet "Isabel" Sharp, a resident of the Lions Prairie Manor, widow of the late William Sharp, passed away at the age of 89 years. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel of the Omega Funeral Home, 83 Royal Road S., Portage la Prairie on Monday, May 8 at 1:30 p.m. with the Reverend Leith Saunders officiating. Interment will follow in the family plot at St. Marys Cemetery. Predeceased by her parents, Alec and Janet Campbell; husband William; son Norman; two sons-in-law, Henry Fust, George Pongoski; grandson Kelly; two great-granddaughters, Stephanie and Kelly; two brothers, Norman and Bill; three sisters, Christina, Jean and Betty, she leaves to mourn her passing her four sons, William (Verna), Alec (Heather), Raymond (Gail) all of Portage, Kenny (Carol) of Fort McMurray, Alberta; two daughters, Shirley (Ed) Bachalo of Portage, Joan Pongoski of Dauphin; 26 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law Nick Boyachek and several nieces and nephews. Should friends so desire memorial donations may be made to the Lions Prairie Manor Foundation Inc., 24 - 9th Street S.E., Portage la Prairie, Man., R1N 3V4 or to a charity of choice. The Omega Funeral Home is in care of the arrangements.
