JUSTINA SIEMENS (nee JANZEN) May 10, 1905 - May 4, 2000 It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of our mother Justina Siemens at Salem Home, Winkler (formerly of Horndean). She attained the age of 94 years and 11 months. Mom was predeceased by her husband John J. Siemens in 1979; son-in-law Don Hiebert in 1986, son-in-law Joe Tronrud in 1990. She leaves to mourn her passing one son John and wife Katie of Horndean; one daughter Elfrieda Hiebert of Winnipeg; two grandchildren, Gordon Hiebert (Lori) of Vancouver, B.C., Joanne Hiebert-Schmidt (Hans) of Fauluck, Germany; two great-grandchildren, Robert and Johanna of Germany and one remaining brother Jasch Janzen of Winkler. Special thanks go out to the staff of Salem Home for all the love and care they provided for Mom. Salem Home was a place Mom loved. Viewing will be held on Sunday and Monday from 1:00 - 9:00 p.m. at Wiebe Funeral Home, Winkler (121 8th St.) and at the church prior to the service. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 9 at 11:00 a.m. from the Winkler Bergthaler Mennonite Church with Rev. Menno Janzen officiating. Committal will follow at the Winkler Cemetery.
