Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLENA CRAIG Lena Craig of Fairview Home, Brandon went home to be with her Heavenly Father on April 30, 2000. She was born on November 15, 1911 in Keighley, Shipley, England. Lena belonged to the First Presbyterian Church as a Ladies Aid and Sunday School Teacher, as well, she volunteered for the Red Cross for 30 years. She is survived by cousin Florence Kemp of Baildon, Shipley, England and by niece Janet Chalmers of Winnipeg. Lena was predeceased by her husband William in 1979; sister Lily of England in 1976; her father in 1933 and her mother in 1942. Special thanks to the nurses on 400 floor at Fairview Home and extra-special thanks to Alma and Mary. Cremation has taken place. A graveside service was held at the Brandon Cemetery on Thursday, May 4 at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Dale Woods of First Presbyterian Church officiating. Donations in memory of Lena may be made to a charity of choice. Arrangements were in care of Brockie Donovan, Brandon.
