Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNE FALK (nee SAWATZKY) It is with deep sadness that the family of Anne Falk announces her passing away at Carman Memorial Hospital on Saturday May 6, 2000 at the age of 78. This ended her 15 month struggle with cancer. She is survived by her beloved husband of 53 years, Jake; her six children, Shawna and Wayne Cole, Gerald and Judy Falk, Sandra Falk, Jim and Judy Falk, Robert and Jacquie Falk and Nadine Falk. Mom was born on April 1, 1922 in Gnadenfeld where she also attended school. Mom and Dad were married on June 14, 1947. She was baptized as one of Jehovahs Witnesses on May 5, 1938. She was currently a member of the Carman Congregation. She always had a very strong faith in Gods Kingdom and especially precious to her was her hope in the promised resurrection. One of Moms most outstanding qualities was her hospitality and unselfish concern for others. Many, many recipients of her wonderful hearty meals will give testimony to this. She also had an entertaining sense of humour that we will greatly miss. Her love of flowers and gardens was always evident in the beautiful yard Mom and Dad shared on the farm and in Carman. She really was a tireless worker. The family would like to thank Dr. Duprat and the Nursing staff at the Carman Memorial Hospital for their excellent care and attention. A memorial service will he held on Wednesday May 10, at 3:00 p.m. at Doyles Funeral Home with Garry Braun officiating. Doyles Funeral Chapel of Carman in care of arrangements.
