DOROTHY MARGUERITE (MARG) BROWN Dorothy Marguerite (Marg) Brown passed away on May 5, 2000 at the Central Park Lodge, 70 Poseidon Bay, Winnipeg. Marg was born at Roland, Manitoba on May 28, 1918. She was predeceased by her parents George and Alice Brown and brother Delmer Brown. Left to mourn are her sisters Doreen Smith of Morden, Manitoba and Beverly and husband Harry Thiessen of Winnipeg, sister-in-law Clem Brown of Parksville, B.C., many nieces and nephews and their families and dear friends in Roland, Winnipeg and Vancouver. During her long career, Marg worked in management at Jacob-Crowleys, Blackwood Beverages and Crosstown Credit Union. A memorial service will take place on Tuesday, May 9th at 10:00 a.m. in Thomson Funeral Chapels, 669 Broadway. If family and friends so desire, donations may be made to a charity of their choice.
