Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY ROSE BOLLENBACH On May 5, 2000, after a lengthy struggle with cancer, Mary passed away at the Selkirk General Hospital. Mary leaves to mourn her passing; her daughter Susan Law (George) of Selkirk, and her son Ted Bollenbach (Nancy) of East Selkirk; grandsons Robert and Steven Finkle on Winnipeg; her mother Emma Berndt of Selkirk; her sisters (and families) Lil Segal of Argyle, Helen Krychuk (Mike) of Stonewall, Edith Sadowski (Bernie) of St. Andrews, Gean Polinchuk (Harry) of Winnipeg, Mildred Stearns of Calgary. She was predeceased by her father Robert Berndt, her husband Ted, her brothers Ralph and Robert Berndt and her sister Edna Trupp. Mary was born in the Whitemouth area on September 1, 1930. In her early years she moved with her family to the Balmoral area. She met Ted and they were married in 1947. They raised their two children in the Elmwood area of Winnipeg. During her life Mary has also lived in Woodroyd and Teulon. She has resided in Selkirk for the last 18 years. A memorial will take place on Wednesday, May 10 at 2:00 p.m. at the Gilbart Funeral Home, 309 Eveline Street, Selkirk, MB. Pastor Terry Thronson presiding. A private family interment will be held at a later date. Flowers are gratefully declined, however, if friends desire, donations may be made in Marys memory to the Canadian Cancer Society, Manitoba Division, 193 Sherbrook Street, Winnipeg, MB R3G 9Z9. Beloved Mary and husband Ted reunited in peace for eternity. We will remember you always. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk, in care of arrangements.
