ALEXANDER JOSHUA STEPHEN HOUSTON It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Alexander Houston, born February 9, 1992, beloved son of Clark and Angelika Houston, at Childrens Hospital, on Saturday, May 6, 2000. He was predeceased by his grandparents Hildegard (May 14, 1990) and Josef Orlikowski (October 18, 1992). He leaves to cherish his memory his parents Clark and Angelika Houston; his brothers, Fabian and Richard; many aunts, uncles and cousins, as well as schoolmates and teachers. He will always be remembered for his mischievous smile and nature. Although his body was weak at times, his spirit was mighty and lives on with us always. He loved to play Nintendo, Batman and watch movies with his brothers. The family wishes to express thanks to the nurses at Childrens Hospital and the PICU Ward, to Dr. M. Chan, Dr. Postuma, Dr. Fiona Fleming, Dr. Strong and Dr. H. Tolloch. Pallbearers will be Wayne Godwin, Leonard Krulicki, Tony Reesor, Jerry Houston, George Skrumeda and Grant Ryckman. Prayers will be on Wednesday, May 10, at 7:00 p.m. at Klassen Funeral Chapel, 1897 Henderson Hwy. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 11, at 2:00 p.m. also at the Chapel. Interment to follow in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens, with a reception following back at Klassen Funeral Chapel. In tribute to Alex, this is his favourite rhyme!
