HEINRICH (HENRY) GOERTZEN On Sunday, May 7, 2000 at the St. Boniface General Hospital in Winnipeg, Henry Goertzen, a charter member of St. Vital E.M.C. Church, passed away at the age of 80 years. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 47 years, Nettie (nee Loewen), two sons, one daughter, one daughter-in-law and two grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, five brothers and one sister. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 11 at 2:00 p.m. at the Fort Garry E.M.C. Church with Pastor Al Friesen officiating. Interment will follow at the Prairie Rose Cemetery. Viewing will be held one hour before the service. Donations in his memory may be made to the St. Vital E.M.C. Church Building Fund or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba. The family would like to thank the staff of the CCU, the staff on 5A, as well as the VON nurses for their kind words and care of Dad.
