JOAN CROYDON Peacefully on Monday, May 8, 2000, Joan Edna Dorothy Croydon passed away, at 80 years of age, with her family by her side at the St. Boniface Hospital. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 25 years, Tom; her daughters, Evelyn and Gerald Heise, Dorothy Groom, Edna and Jim Francis; her sons, John Jackson and Bob and Claudette Jackson; grandson Chris (Gayle), who was another "son" to Mom; grandchildren, Karen, Barbara, Jennifer, Andrew, Michael, Lisa (Jim) and Glen and 11 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother John and Loretta Howard, one niece and three nephews. Funeral services will be held at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd., (across from the Royal Canadian Mint) on Thursday, May 11 at 2:00 p.m. with viewing commencing at 1:30 p.m. Interment, Garden of Devotion at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. A gathering of family and friends will follow in Glen Lawn Reception Centre. In lieu of flowers, remembrances of Joan may be made to the charity of your choice.
