ALICE M. FAUCHER (nee MARCHAND) May 28, 1913 - May 9, 2000 On Tuesday, May 9, 2000 at St. Boniface Hospital, Alice, aged 86 years, of St. Boniface, died peacefully with her family at her side. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Gerard in 1977; also by her sisters, Blanche Marchand, Diana Hamel, Leda Marchand, and brothers, Paul, Lucien, Willie and Emile Marchand. She will be sadly missed by her son Rene (special friend Annette Beauchamp) her daughters, Eveline Faucher, Laurette (Joseph) Courchaine, Andree (Leonard) Doiron, Jeannine Faucher, all of Winnipeg and Louise (Harry) Harding of Iqualuit Nunavut Territory. She is also survived by her sisters, Rose Deaust from Assiniboia, Sask., Annette Nicolas from Otterburne, Man., and her brother Roland Marchand from Gravelbourg, Sask.; many grand and great-grandchildren that she cherished dearly, as well as many nephews and nieces. "Jirai la voir un jour." Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 13 at the Precieux-Sang Parish, 200 Kenny, St. Boniface with Father Marcel Chaput presiding. Interment will follow at the Green Acres Memorial Gardens. Viewing will take place at 1:30 p.m. until time of service. Flowers are gratefully declined.
