JEANNETTE FRANCIS BELANGER July 12, 1953 - November 20, 1999 A memorial service to honour and celebrate Jeannettes life will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2000 at 1:00 p.m at the graveside in Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd., Winnipeg, MB. Fr. Martin Houston will officiate. Jeannette leaves to mourn her untimely passing her brothers, Andre (Audrey) niece Grace and nephew Paul, Emilien (Lavinia) goddaughter Melanie Allen, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Deeply missed by close friends, Pamela Astbury, Linda Slater, Doug and Heather Allen and numerous other friends too many to mention. Jeannette graduated in 1971 from Technical Vocational High School and took up a career as a Legal Administrative Secretary - moving upwards to Administrative Assistant and then to Office Manager. Her work was a source of great pride and she worked diligently both in the office and outside - especially in the Legal Secretaries Assoc. and the Tec-Voc High School Alumni Assoc. She gave countless hours of herself to these causes and to what they stand for. In later years, Jeannette pursued and attained a degree from the University of Manitoba in Human Resources. It was her dream that she could combine her para-legal skills with her people skills to help others. Further information can be obtained by calling Lavinia Belanger at 204-373-2166.
