Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNA HEUCHERT Peacefully, on Tuesday, May 9, 2000 at Luther Home, Anna passed away at the age of 90 years. Anna was born April 5, 1910 in Stryy, Poland. She emigrated to Canada in 1930, married in 1933 and resided in Winnipeg all her life. Prior to Luther Home, Anna resided at Carriage House North for 18 years. Predeceased by her husband Adolf in March, 1976 and daughter-in-law Angel in March, 1995. She is survived by daughter Ruth Wray (Les) and son Rick; eight grandchildren, Karen, Kevin, Sandy Wray, Maureen Valverde, Denine Siller (Rod), Richard, Garett and Leanne Heuchert; also great-grandchildren, Lindsay Wray and Nicole Siller; sisters, Elizabeth Klein and Katie Metzler; nieces, Noreen Polant (Vince), Trudy Klein; and nephew Edwin Klein (Lorraine). Anna was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Life revolved around her family. She loved gardening, sewing and baking and specialized in baking cookies for her grandchildren. She was a member of St Johns Ev. Lutheran Church. Cremation as taken place. A memorial service will be held at Luther Home, 1081 Andrews St., on Monday, May 15 at 10:30 a.m., with Pastor M. Mechsner presiding. A private family interment of ashes to take place at a later date. Flowers gratefully declined. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to St Johns Lutheran Church, 370 McKenzie St., Winnipeg, MB R2W 5B1, or a charity of your choice. The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to the staff at Luther Home and a special thanks to Lorraine and Edwin Klein for their help and support.
