ERLINDA AGAPITO SOKULSKI Mrs Erlinda Agapito Sokulski passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 6, 2000. Erlinda will be lovingly remembered by her husband John; brothers, Oscar, Simeon and wife Yolanda, and Rey Agapito; sisters, Ma Aurora Dalisay and Violeta De Vera. She will also be remembered by her brother-in-law Victor and wife Helen; as well as her nephews, Alvaro Agapito, his wife Lolita and their children, Romeo Dalisay, his wife Elvira and their daughter; Mark Agapito; Jim Agapito; and her many friends. Erlinda immigrated to Canada from Holland in 1971. She joined the Holy Family Nursing Home staff as a health care aide for 23 years. There, she met her husband John Sokulski. The family would like to thank Fr. Bryan, Sr. Zoe and Sr. Nicholas and Erlindas co-workers at Holy Family, Msgr. Maurice Comeault, Fr. Michael Okwaraoha, Fr. Diosdado Parrenas, The Hollanders, and especially Evelyn Agagnier, Fe Sangalang, Angie Tinio and Demie Estavillo for all their support. Also many thanks to the Palliative Care staff, Unit 1, 2 and 3, Dr. Hectantel, Dr. Lysak and Dr. Taraska at Seven Oaks Hospital for their aid and support to Mrs. Sokulski. Visitation was held between 6 to 10 p.m., with prayers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, May 12 at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. A second visitation will be held between 6 to 10 p.m., with prayers at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, May 15, also at Cropo Funeral Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 16 at St. Marys Cathedral, 353 St. Mary Ave., with Rev. Darrin J.G. Gurr officiating. Entombment will follow in Holy Family Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Rolando Bulaong, Noel Retumalta, Andy Mapatac, Mario Tolentino, Eusebio Villaverde and Lorenzo Raymundo.
