EVELYN BLANCHE MARSH (nee CLARKSON) It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Evelyn Blanche Marsh after a brief illness on Monday, May 8, 2000 with her family by her side. Ev was born August 27, 1923 in Gilbert Plains, MB. She was predeceased by her husband Lou in 1979. Mom will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her daughters, Heather (Gary), Oma (Harvey), Roma (Glen), Jan (Johnnie) her grandchildren, Cory, Chad, Chris, Shannon, Craig, Matthew and Jennifer; great-grandchildren, Mason and Tyson; her brothers, Dave and Bill; and longtime friend and companion Roy Graham. Moms greatest enjoyments were gardening, golf, bowling (Deer Lodge Ladies bowling league for over 40 years), bingo, dancing (doing her own thing), recent cruises and baking. Her apple pies and butter tarts will surely be missed. Mom belonged to the St. James Legion (Over 60 Club). She enjoyed her trips, golf and the good friends she met along the way. Funeral service was held on Thursday, May 11 at 11:00 a.m. in the Leatherdale Gardiner Funeral Chapel, 1858 Portage Ave. Donations in Evelyns memory may be made to a charity of ones choice.
