Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGRACE MARGARET ANDERSON Grace Margaret Anderson passed away on Friday, May 5, 2000 at Royal Jubilee Hospital, Eric Martin Pavilion, in Victoria, B.C. Grace was born on July 10, 1914 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Predeceased by her husband, Scotty Anderson, in 1993. She is lovingly remembered by her niece Lynda Jamieson in Victoria, cousin Kay Jones of Carman, sister-in-law Alice Sim, nephew and nieces Jim Sim, Joan Swainson, Terry Gray of Winnipeg, Sheryl Sim of Whitehorse, Arden Sim of Burlington, and Cynthia Sim of Calgary and their families. Grace grew up in St. James and attended Assiniboine School. She worked for some time in the business offices of T. Eaton Co. in Winnipeg where she made lifelong friends. Grace married Scotty Anderson in 1952 and resided in the Dunbar Apartments in Winnipeg and lived for a time in Atikokan, Ontario. They moved to Victoria to the Regent Towers on Michigan Street in 1968 on his retirement from the Royal Bank. A curler and an avid golfer, Grace was a member of Deer Lodge Curling Club and the Assiniboine Golf Club in Winnipeg and golfed at Royal Colwood Golf Club in Victoria. Sadly missed by her many friends in James Bay. A memorial service will be held at James Bay United Church on Michigan Street, Victoria, on Tuesday, May 23 at 2:00 p.m. First Memorial Funeral Service (250) 658-5244.
