JOHN P. BOYCHUK Peacefully, on Friday, May 12, 2000, John P. Boychuk passed away at the Seven Oaks General Hospital, beloved husband of Nellie. Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife of 69 years, Nellie; three sons, Peter (Mary), Harry (Doreen), William (Doris) two daughters, Anne Faseruk (Edward), Evelyn Melnyk (Stan) 13 grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren. One brother Matt; two sisters, Ann Swynar (Leonard), Mary Prociuk; as well as several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. John was predeceased by his parents, Peter and Paraska; and brothers, Mike and Steve. The family wish to thank the staff at the Holy Family Nursing Home, 3rd floor, St Annes Ward, and Seven Oaks Hospital, 5th floor Unit 4, for all their care and kindness. Special thanks to Dr. John Moncek. Flowers are gratefully declined. Should friends so desire, donations may be made to the Holy Family Nursing Home, 165 Aberdeen Ave., Winnipeg MB R2W 0T9; St. Josephs Ukrainian Catholic Church, 250 Jefferson Ave., Winnipeg, MB R2M 0V6; or the Seven Oaks Hospital Foundation, 2300 McPhillips St., Winnipeg, MB R2V 9Z9. Prayers will be said on Sunday, May 14 at 8:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. at Luxton Avenue. Divine liturgy will be celebrated on Monday, May 15 at 10:00 a.m. at St Josephs Ukrainian Catholic Church, 250 Jefferson Ave., with a Redemptorist Father officiating. Interment to follow in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be his son Peter; grandsons Ken, Jeff and Robert Boychuk; Allan Melnyk, Randy Faseruk. Honorary Pallbearers will be his two sons, William and Harry and his granddaughters. Two tired eyes are resting, Two willing hands are still: The one who always worked so hard, Is resting in Gods will God saw you getting tired, He knew you needed rest; His garden must be beautiful He only takes the best.
