Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWALTER (ANDREW) DUPUIS Suddenly on May 2, 2000, Walter Andrew Dupuis, of Cleveland, Ohio, U.S.A. passed away at the age of 47. Walter will be lovingly remembered by his parents, Andrew and Jean Dupuis and his sister Jeannette Kozun (Brian). He was born in Selkirk, MB. In 1973 he received his Electronics Technology degree at R.R.C.C. He moved to Cleveland, Ohio in 1976 and joined Picker International which has recently changed their name to Marconi Medical Systems. Here he was challenged as an Engineer to designing and building CAT scanners for the medical industry. He developed 10 patents and received two employee awards for excellence. In 1981 he changed his career from the hardware side to the software side of the industry. He now developed software to control the hardware which he understood so well. A memorial mass was held in Cleveland on May 8 with his many friends and co-workers. Five co-workers spoke about him as bright, industrious, forward looking, creative, kind, devout and devoted. But his love of his job could no where be surpassed by his love for God and his devotion to our blessed mother, the Virgin Mary. For the past seven years he has gone to mass daily, prayed unceasingly, studied the bible and tried to help spread Gods word of love. We know he is enjoying his new life with our Lord. Funeral mass to be held on Monday, May 15 at 10:30 a.m. in the Notre Dame Catholic Church, 269 Jemima St., Selkirk, with Fr. Boguslaw Wardzinski officiating. Interment to follow in the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, if family and friends so desire, donations may be made to the charity of your choice. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk, in care of arrangements.
