ALEXANDER (ALEX) KOZODY Mr. Alexander Kozody, aged 76 years, of Beausejour, Man., beloved husband of Leona (nee Niznick), passed away suddenly on Friday, May 12, 2000, at the St. Boniface Hospital, Winnipeg. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his loving wife Leona; his daughter Eileen and husband Leslie Davis of Patricia, Alta.; his son Larry of Winnipeg, his son Alexander, Jr. of Beausejour; his daughter Dianne and husband Ken Urbanski of Beausejour, his daughter Joanne and husband Andre Lemoine of Winnipeg, his daughter Bernice Kozody of Beausejour; 12 grandchildren, Leonard (Linda), Ronald (Tracey), Twylla (Fred), Matthew (Kim), Tammy (Mike), Jason, Dereck, Kevin, Lisa, Janelle, Rachelle and Marc; six great-grandchildren, Sarah, Amanda, Katlyn, Samantha, Chantal and Emily; one sister Frances and husband Huey Cunningham of Niagara Falls, Ont., also many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, his brothers and sisters. Prayers will be said on Sunday, May 14 (tonight), at 7:30 p.m. at the Sobering Funeral Chapel, Park Avenue East, Beausejour. Funeral liturgy will be sung on Monday, May 15, at 10:00 a.m. at the Holy Ghost Ukrainian Catholic Church, Beausejour with Rev. Fr. John Sholdak, the celebrant. Interment will follow at the parish cemetery. Pallbearers will be his grandsons. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations in his memory may be made to the Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation, 301-352 Donald St., Winnipeg, Man., R3B 2H8.
