AUDREY JUNE DEWAR (nee FRIGHT) November 26, 1930- May 11, 2000 It is with deepest sorrow and regret that we announce the sudden passing of Audrey June Dewar on May 11, 2000 at the Concordia Hospital. She leaves to mourn her passing husband and best friend Don; children, Wendi, Butch (Fran), Bob (Maria), David, Alex (Val) grandchildren, Ashleigh and Nicole, Christopher and Kevin, Justin and Ainsley, Donnie and Randi; step-grandchildren, Krystal, Konrad, Cindy, Kelly, Jessie, Carlos, Ana and Essie; brothers, Ted (Eunice) of BC and Rob (Nettie) of Winnipeg. She is survived also by brother-in-law Ted (Sylvia) Dewar; sisters-in-law, Doreen and John Searcy of Calgary and Joyce and Bob Barker of Teulon; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews throughout Canada. Audrey was predeceased by her parents, Doris and Les Fright; mother and father-in-law Mae and Alex Dewar. Special thanks to the ER staff at Concordia Hospital, ambulance attendants and the first responders, for their efforts in trying to save my wife and our mother. Flowers are gratefully declined. If friends so wish donations in Audreys memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association (102-310 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB R3C 0S6) or Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba (301-352 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3B 2H8). Visitation will be held from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 16 at Glen Eden Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held in the chapel of Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St., on Wednesday, May 17 at 2:00 p.m. Interment Glen Eden Memorial Gardens.
