INA MAE ANTON (BALL)

Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryINA MAE ANTON (nee BALL) Peacefully, on May 12, 2000, at the Watford Quality Care Centre, Watford, ON, Ina Anton passed away at the age of 83 years. Ina was born and raised in Petersfield, MB. In 1937 she married Marshall (Mike) Anton and resided on their farm one mile west of Antons Corner in Whytewold, MB where they raised their ten children and made many lifelong friends. In 1956 Mom and Dad moved to Dryden, ON. Later Mom took up residence in Sarnia, ON. Mom was predeceased by her loving husband Mike in 1975; her son William in 1958 and four grandchildren. Left to cherish her memory are her two sons, Eric (Lynne) of Stony Plain, AB; Allan (Jackie) of Innisfail, AB and seven daughters, Margaret (Paul) Criddle of Brandon, MB; Verna of Calgary, AB; Faye of Sarnia, ON; Marsha of Clairsholm, AB; Geraldine (Jack) of Nelson, BC; Dale (Gary) of Seattle, WA, U.S.A.; and Laura (Gilles) of Thunder Bay, ON. She will also be remembered close in the hearts of her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews whom she loved so dearly. Mom will be remembered for her hospitality and gentle devotion to her family and friends. She would always have a ready cup of tea, biscuits and homemade bread to share over a game of cribbage with anyone who called. At this time the family would like to thank the staff of the Watford Quality Care Centre for their care, concerns and compassion. Cremation has taken place. A private family interment will follow in Dryden, ON at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Inas memory to the Red Cross or the Watford Quality Care Centre, 344 Victoria St., Watford, ON N0M 2S0.
