Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEMILIA (EMILY) KUZYK With her family by her side, Mom quietly left this life on May 13, 2000 to join her loved ones in heaven. Emily was born on October 20, 1910 in Mogielnice, Poland. In 1936 Mom received her hairstyling diploma from Nu-Fashion Beauty Culture Academy, Winnipeg, MB. Mom was employed as a hair stylist in Winnipeg, later married at age 29 to John and settled in Rosenburg, MB to farm. Till the age of 85 Mom continued planting her own garden. Mom still had active interests in farming and growing flowers until her passing. Predeceased by her loving husband John; son Edward; mother and father, Francis and Fred Macadym; stepfather John Kaczanowski; brother Walter; sister and brother-in-law Bernice and Peter Blahuta; son-in-law Oscar Miller and granddaughter Gwendolyn (Wendy) Miller. Mom leaves to mourn her devoted son Michael. Michael with your patience, understanding, laughter for Mom has been the work of Moms four daughters put together. Jean Miller and family, Daryl (Terri), Marilyn (Curtis) Schettler, Bonnie (Kenny) Seniuk and Kevin; Anne (David) Petrachek and family Charlene (Dennis) Sigurdson and Cory; Olga (Ron) Halyk and family Jeff (Suzanne), Samantha (Phil) Koschak; Irene (Larry Widish) sister-in-law Ann Macadym, other relatives and her feline friend Robyn. Great-Grandma was always there with cookies, candies, hugs and kisses for her precious great-grandchildren, Tyler and Terrance Halyk, Selina and Justin Miller, Bryson Schettler, Nico Halyk-Koschak, and Devin Sigurdson. Emilia you will always be remembered in our hearts as a loving, thoughtful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother by family and friends. Youve left an impression on us that will last forever. Were very proud of you. Rest in Peace. We wish to thank Dr. S.J. Muller, Dr. M.E. Muller, Dr. J. Mohamdee and staff of Arborg Memorial Hospital, Arborg, MB. You were understanding in the compassion and care for all of us and to every one of you, we are grateful. Eulogy by Charlene Sigurdson, cremation will follow. Interment will take place at Shorncliffe Community Cemetery, Shorncliffe, MB. "Always Remembered With Love" Arborg (MacKenzie) Funeral Home in care of the arrangements.
