ERDMAN B. TOEWS February 24, 1911 - May 15, 2000 ANNA TOEWS May 16, 1913 - July 1, 1999 It is with deep sadness that the family of Anna and Erdman Toews have seen the passing of their parents in the past ten months. Erdman Toews will be remembered at a Funeral Service on Thursday, May 18, in the Steinbach Mennonite Church, 345 Loewen Blvd., at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Paul Dyck officiating. Viewing will be held on Wednesday, May 17 from 7:00-8:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel and prior to the service at the church. Memorial donation may be made to Mennonite Central Committee, 134 Plaza Dr., Winnipeg, Man., R3T 5K9. Burial of Erdman Toews will be beside his beloved wife of 65 years at the Heritage Cemetery in Steinbach. Erdman and Anna Toews have left five children and their spouses, Peter (Mary), Otto (Jean), Esther (Wally) Matz, Bertha (Tony) Penner and Waldina (Henry) Reimer to mourn their loss. Also nurturing memories of their grandparents are 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Erdman and Anna were predeceased by two girls in infancy. The family would like to express their deep appreciation for the personal attention and care provided by the Home Care Services and the staff of the Bethesda Personal Care Home, the nursing staff of the Steinbach Bethesda Hospital, as well as their family physician for many years, Dr. Kaethler.
