GWENDOLINE BROWN Peacefully, on May 15, 2000 at the Charleswood Care Centre, our beloved aunt Gwendoline passed away at age 93 years. Gwendoline was born in Plymouth, England, later coming to Canada. She was employed by the City of Winnipeg for many years. The couple retired to Kelowna, B.C. and for the past 35 years Gwendoline made her home there. Gwendoline was predeceased by her beloved husband Ernest and by her three brothers and one sister. She leaves to mourn her sister Lucy of Kelowna, B.C. and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 19 at the Transcona Funeral Chapel, 1800 Day St. with Rev. Carol Fletcher officiating. In lieu of flowers, if friends so wish, memorial donations may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 5 Kent St., Winnipeg, Man., R2L 1X3, or to a charity of ones choice.
