TOM FOSTER On Monday, May 15, 2000 at the Johnson Memorial Hospital, Gimli, Tom Foster, age 57 years, beloved husband of Patsy, father of Joey and T.J. of Gimli, MB passed away. Born July 28, 1942 at Winnipeg. He was raised in Stony Mountain and lived in various communities, Woodlands, Stonewall, Arborg, Komarno before settling in Gimli in 1990. He worked for Kimberly Clark, Northern Goose, Arborg Transfer, Feed Rite, Interlake Potato Farm, Interlake sod farm and many farmers throughout the Interlake. Surviving besides his wife Patsy and two sons, Joey and T.J.; one brother Bob (Stella) of Winnipeg; two sisters, May Roberts of British Columbia, Evelyn Roberts of Stonewall; mother-in-law Jessie Oliver of Winnipeg; numerous nieces and nephews, close family friend Sharon Blais and family. Friends may call on Wednesday, May 17 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall, (391 Main St.). Funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 18 at 1:00 p.m. in the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall. Rev. Mary Best will officiate. The service will terminate at the chapel. MacKenzie Funeral Home Stonewall in care of the arrangements.
