SOPHIA KAWCHUK Sophia Kawchuk passed away at the Mayfair Nursing Home in Calgary on May 17, 2000 at the age of 89 years. Formerly of Winnipeg, Man., Sophia lived amongst family in Calgary since 1983. She is survived by her loving son Don and her daughter-in-law Arlene. "Gram" will also be fondly remembered by three grandchildren, Greg (Janet), Brent (Julie) and Jordan (Abbie) and two great-grandchildren, Jonathan and Michael. A private family memorial service will be held at Christ Moravian Church. Sophia loved "kids". In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Childrens Wish Foundation of Canada, 106-223 12th Ave., SW, Calgary, Alberta, T2R 0G9.
