WILLIAM HAROLD GRAHN It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our dear husband and father, William Harold Grahn on May 16, 2000 at the Lakeshore General Hospital. Harold was born on July 14, 1909 in Winnipeg. He was raised on the family farm in the Kissman district of Moosehorn. He worked in the mines in Red Lake, Ontario to save money to buy a farm near Grahamdale. In 1941 he married Elsie Haus and together they raised a family of three children on the farm. In 1979 Elsie and Harold retired to their home in Moosehorn where he enjoyed his life of leisure. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife Elsie; daughter Evelyn (Chuck), Betty (Brian), and a son Donald (Loraine). grandchildren, Dwayne (Heather), Catherine, Doreen (Rob), Caroline (Rob), Sharon, Liz (Bob) and David; great-grandchildren, Michelle, Krista, Laura and Matthew. He is also survived by sisters, Emily Roehl, Myrtle Buechter, Edna Metner, Emma Metner, Helen (Bill) Klapprat; brothers, Albert (Clara), Jack (Adele) and Elmer (Alice), along with many nieces, nephews and good friends. He was predeceased by a brother and four brothers-in-law. Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 19 at the Peace Lutheran Church in Moosehorn with Rev. Donna J. Smalley officiating. Viewing will be held one hour prior to the service in the church. Interment to follow in the St. Johns Lutheran Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Rob Warzel, Rob Harkin, Bob McQuigge, Dwayne Meisner, David Gall, and Glen Metner.
